Brass Barge Horn

A fantastic vintage brass barge horn, with a long tapered body, flared bell and wonderfully aged finish.

Traditionally associated with barges, boats and other working vessels, horns like this were used as practical signalling instruments on the waterways. This example has developed a lovely patina over time, with the marks, knocks and surface wear that give genuine vintage pieces their character.

The attached hanging loop also makes it a brilliant decorative piece when not in use — ideal for a nautical interior, pub, study, workshop, man cave or collection of unusual vintage instrumentation.
