This round variation of our Celtic cross range is often known as a Sun cross and its origins go back as far into the past as the Neolithic period. Contemporary pagan religious thought makes the suggestion that the four quadrants of the cross are representative of the four seasons. These crosses are also decorated with Celtic knot designs and other carvings.
