Join us for a guided movement class that helps you balance your nervous system, process your stress, anxiety and emotions so you can feel lighter and more grounded. Here all of your emotions are welcome as we use music, movement and the breath to release what you no longer want to carry.
This class isn’t like yoga or performance, there’s no need to “do it right.” Here we drop the ego to be with yourself, your breath and all that lives in your body. Your body knows more than your mind thinks, and when you let it move and process energy and emotion, things in your life will start to shift.
Some sessions will be slow to honour rest, and to process grief and stress and some will be more energetic to help you process through rage and frustration. Each session is intuitively created with a personalised playlist with the intention to feel more free in your body, so trust which ones you are called to attend.
What is Somatic Movement?
Somatic movement is using your awareness to connect to your body and process stuck energy and emotional baggage through movement, ecstatic dance and rhythmic breathwork. This will help you unlock stored emotion and energy in the body so you can process and transform them, leaving you feeling lighter and more joyful. Somatic movement is for the tender and powerful parts of you that are ready to be felt. It’s a beautiful way to heal your mind-body connection, unravel beliefs and stored emotion - not to fix you, but to free you.
What to expect:
Grounding meditation
Guided movement sequences with breath (inspired by Tai chi and Qi gong)
Ecstatic Dance or Free Flow Movement
Movement Meditations for slowing down and resting
Stillness at the end by laying down to integrate all that’s been felt.
For anyone wanting to: – Process what they are going through without talking about it – Reconnect with their body – Feel empowered in their expression – Feel Lighter and more grounded in yourself
– Open to joy, softness and love
What to bring:
● Comfy clothes you can move in (it’s like a healing workout so you may get sweaty)
● Blanket or warm layers for laying meditation
● Water (electrolytes always encouraged)
● Journal and pen
This may not be for you if:
● You are pregnant (please check with your midwife or doctor first)
● You have a heart condition or cardiovascular issues
● You have had recent surgery or injury, particularly to joints, back or pelvis
● You have epilepsy or a seizure disorder
● You experience severe mental health conditions such as psychosis, mania or
dissociative disorders
● You have vertigo or a balance disorder
● You are under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs
● You have an injury that limits your movement (some can be adapted)

Cancellation Policy:
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another session with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Khrissie is a certified trauma informed somatic movement practitioner, medicine woman and artist devoted to body-led healing, emotional expression, creativity and feminine reclamation.
Her work is shaped by her own journey of disconnection, years of living in her mind, masking her feelings, and people-pleasing just to feel safe. She knows what it’s like to override her needs, shut down her voice and live with chronic illness but also knows how life changes when you heal your connection to your body and get honest with yourself.
She has been on a 20 year journey of healing her depression and inner child wounds through holistic and creative practices and now teaches women how to reconnect to their bodies so they can heal their relationship with their emotions for a healthier mind, body and spirit. Her passion is to create a world where all women feel seen and validated in their expression, so they can truly live their life, not just survive it!
Khrissie’s sessions are grounded, intuitive, deeply human and playful at times too. She doesn’t believe in fixing women, she believes in allowing all emotions to be felt by creating spaces where women can remember the power that lives in their body when they feel safe enough to listen.
